My path to Health Coaching did not begin in a classroom. It began through personal hardship, years in law enforcement, and learning how to rebuild health and resilience after chronic stress.
I grew up on an organic beef farm in Germany, where life was simple, healthy, and closely connected to nature.
But life changed dramatically when I was 11 years old.
Losing my mum to suicide was a devastating turning point in my life. Shortly after, I also lost my grandparents and our family dog. These experiences forced me to grow up quickly, but they also shaped my resilience and sense of responsibility.
At 16, I joined the German Federal Police. I served in riot police units before later working in diplomatic protection, safeguarding German diplomats at embassies and consulates overseas.
Over five years, I served in several countries including France, the United Kingdom, Israel, Nigeria, and Ethiopia.
The work was demanding and often placed me in high-pressure environments. It taught me discipline, adaptability, and leadership through real-world experience. I learned early that leadership is not about authority, but leading by example.
Throughout these years, I also struggled with chronic fatigue, periods of low mood, persistent headaches, and hormonal imbalances. Over time I began to understand that unresolved emotional trauma and long-term stress had taken a toll on my health.
This led me to study health more deeply.
In 2017, I became a Personal Trainer and began building a client base while continuing my work in the police force.
Eventually PTSD and the cumulative pressures of the profession led me to leave the force. I also realised that I was no longer fully aligned with certain political directions and operational approaches within the system. This reinforced my decision to seek a different path in life.
After 18 years in the German Federal Police, I knew it was time to move on.
Over time I learned how to transform my PTSD into post-traumatic growth, rebuilding my health and resilience step by step.
In 2022, I moved to New Zealand to begin a new chapter of my life. Living rurally again, surrounded by nature, farming, and gardening helped me reconnect with a simpler and more grounded way. I am now a permanent resident and grateful for the opportunity to build my life here.
Through this journey I discovered a deeper approach to health focused on circadian rhythm, nutrition, lifestyle, our connection to the natural environment, and above all, a life ordered toward God.
While I have spent many thousands of hours studying health and investing in education, the foundation of my work comes from lived experience.
Today, as a Health Coach, I guide others who feel exhausted, overwhelmed, or disconnected from their health toward a more balanced and resilient way of living.
My approach is not about quick fixes or chasing symptoms. It focuses on restoring the foundations of health so the body can recover and function as it was designed to.
This philosophy is deeply influenced by my upbringing on a farm and in a traditional Catholic household, as well as my years in law enforcement, where discipline, responsibility, and leading by example were part of everyday life.
Men in particular often struggle silently with stress, fatigue, and mental pressure. Through my years in law enforcement and rural environments, I have seen how rarely these struggles are spoken about. I have a deep respect for that reality and understand the importance of creating a space where men feel comfortable addressing their health without judgement.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my dogs, gardening, hunting, hiking, and reading. I have a great sense of humour and appreciate a good laugh. I also love going to Mass and have deepened my Catholic faith over the years.
My mission is to share what I have learned through experience and study, helping others restore their energy, resilience, and connection to a healthier way of living.
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind.”
